Man and Woman Apparently Shot to Death in Home
The bodies of a man and woman who apparently had been shot to death were found Friday night in a home in the 26800 block of Carranza Drive in Mission Viejo, and sheriff’s deputies said they were investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide.
Deputies would not identify the victims. But they said the residents of the house were Robert and Sherrian Wheenen and their three children--a daughter in her 20s and two teen-age sons. A spokesman said investigators found a handgun at the house. He said the shootings apparently occurred about 6 p.m. Friday.
The house, which has a “For Sale” sign in the front yard, was roped off by deputies.
