Ideas Listed to Help Pets Through Holidays
Households with pets are urged by the Southern California Veterinary Assn. to follow a few precautions this holiday season to ensure the safety of the animals.
Decorations on trees should be high enough that curious dogs and cats can’t reach them. Wires should not be exposed or they might be chewed, and leftover food should be put away after parties. The association also encourages pet owners to maintain their pet’s normal routine and to keep them away from excited children.
