Panel Delays Action on Venice Zoning
The Los Angeles Planning Commission has postponed its decision on a plan that would permit property owners to operate commercial businesses on a residential stretch of Ocean Front Walk in Venice.
The two-block area, bounded by Dudley and Sunset courts, is described as residential property under the community plan. But property owners contend that it should be designated commercial. A residents group opposes the request.
A decision is expected from the commission when it meets again later this month.
