As soon as Valerie Harper was dismissed from her NBC-TV show “Valerie” because of her reportedly enormous salary demands, the talk started: Would the new show, starring Sandy Duncan, be called “Where’s Valerie?” “Who’s Valerie?” or “Sorry, Valerie”? Lorimar Telepictures had maintained it would not change the name until Monday, when the company announced that the show would now be called “Valerie’s Family.” It might be changed again to “Valerie’s Attorneys,” since Harper is now saying she doesn’t know why she was replaced and is considering a lawsuit.
