Alan J. Forrest has been appointed chair of the department of architecture in the School of Environmental Design at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Forrest has been a full-time visiting professor in the School of Architecture & Allied Arts at the University of Oregon.

Brian Norkaitis has been promoted to senior vice president for the William Lyon Co., Newport Beach.

Alison W. Maguire has been appointed director of property management for Hutton Development Co. Inc., Santa Ana. Maguire will be responsible for management of the company’s projects, including Hutton Centre, Woodbridge Medical Center in Irvine, and Malibu Savings Bank, Costa Mesa.
