New Line Cinema reached a two-year agreement with Lorimar-Telepictures Corp. to develop and produce original TV programming that will be financed and distributed by Lorimar. The deal marks New Line’s TV production debut. The first project will be a program based on the film “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and its sequels, which New Line produced.
