Woody Stephens’ Tactics Criticized
So it was win or destroy at all cost. I think Woody Stephens has horse racing confused with something else.
He jeopardized last year’s Eclipse winner so that the filly could not win the Preakness. He sacrificed his horse to be a rabbit in the race--just to satisfy his own resentment toward another horse and her trainer.
Woody may claim to be the best trainer in the nation, but the public may remember him for his childish behavior.
