A Palm Beach (Fla.) County grand jury returned first-degree murder indictments against two men in the death of former National Hockey League player Brian Spencer.
Leon Daniels, 34, of Riviera Beach, Fla., was arrested June 28 in connection with Spencer’s June 3 killing. Daniels faces charges of armed robbery and attempted armed robbery in addition to first-degree murder, the sheriff’s department said.
Authorities were searching for Larry Willie Johnson, 29, whom they believe was the triggerman in the murder.
