Ramona
A Ramona man was found dead in his pickup truck early Thursday morning, apparently the victim of a single-vehicle accident, the coroner’s office reported.
The Ramona Fire Department was dispatched to California 78 near Haverford Road about 6 a.m. to investigate a vehicle that had run down an embankment. The body of Andrew Edward Kraus Jr., 22, was found in the driver’s seat of his truck.
Kraus had suffered multiple injuries, and evidence showed that the accident occurred sometime during the night, Deputy Coroner Robert Engel said.
