In other women’s games:

Cal Lutheran 82, Christ College 71--Christ College started the game with only 5 players and played the final minutes with just 3 after 2 had fouled out of the Golden State Athletic Conference game at Christ College.

Heidi Griffith led the Regals (5-12, 2-3) with 21 points and Brenda Lee had 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Cuesta 90, Canyons 72--Tressie Millender scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough for Canyons in the Western State Conference game at Cuesta.

Cuesta center Vanessa Hornbuckle, a graduate of Newbury Park High, scored a game-high 41 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Teammate Karen McConnell added 25 points and 10 rebounds for Cuesta (11-11, 3-5).

Debbie Barnard had 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for Canyons (3-17, 2-6).

MEN

Cal Lutheran 88, Christ College 75--Dave Rowlands came off the bench to score 12 points and spark a second-half rally that saw the visiting Kingsmen outscore Christ College, 49-32, in the GSAC game.

Center Mike Demeter, who along with Steve deLaveaga led Cal Lutheran with 26 points, scored 17 points in the first half.

Jeff Logsdon had 12 points for Cal Lutheran (8-12, 2-4) and Charles Jackson had 10 points.

Canyons 79, Cuesta 73--Four players scored in double figures as the Cougars held off Cuesta in the WSC game at Cuesta.

Larry Allbritton led Canyons (12-13, 3-5) with 20 points and Aaron Clark added 17 points.

Moorpark 76, West Los Angeles 58--Bruce Watson scored 18 points and Alex Porter added 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead Moorpark in a WSC game at Moorpark.
