Work has begun on the $30-million Security Pacific Courtyard, a 95,000-square-foot office building at the corner of Arizona and 4th Streets in Santa Monica.

The six-story building, sheathed in French limestone, is being developed by Los Angeles-based Search Builders Inc. It will have landscaped terraces, a two-story lobby, valet parking and a 312-car parking garage.

The project is designed by the Landau Partnership of Santa Monica, with Keller Construction handling contracting duties.
