Universal Grumbles: The $600-million Universal Studios Florida made its debut Thursday amid complaints by patrons about long lines and unopened rides. “It’s miserable,” said Janie Ward, 34, who stood in line at the Ghostbuster “Spooktacular” attraction with her family. “We’ve been waiting in line here an hour and a half.” Despite assurances from park executives during the last two weeks that all the attractions would be finished, many of them, including “Jaws the Shark,” were still not operating, displeasing guests who had paid $30 apiece. Bill Cosby and James Stewart took part in the opening ceremony.
