FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Work Sites Announced

Caltrans advises motorists that it plans the following work on freeways and major streets in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations listed below are keyed to the nearest city or cities and are spotted on the map by number.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. Carson: Southbound No. 4 lane; Del Amo Boulevard to Carson Street, Torrance Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

2. Carson: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Torrance Boulevard to Del Amo Boulevard; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

3. San Pedro: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Terminal Island separation of the Harbor Freeway (110) to Ferry Street off-ramp; Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; raised markers.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Commerce: Northbound off-ramp at Washington Boulevard; today, noon to 1 p.m.; electrical repairs.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. East Los Angeles: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Indiana Avenue to Eastern Avenue; Monday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

6. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 1 lane; Eastern Avenue to Indiana Avenue; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

7. Monterey Park: Eastbound No. 1 lane; Eastern Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

8. Monterey Park: Westbound No. 1 lane; Atlantic Boulevard to Eastern Avenue; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

9. Downey: Connector road from southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); today, 9 to 10 a.m.; electrical repairs.

10. Downey: Connector road from northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) to southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); today, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; electrical repairs.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

11. Downey: No. 2 lane of southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) connector to southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); today, 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.; electrical repairs.

12. Downey: Connector road from northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) to southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; bridge rail repair.

13. Downey: Southbound off-ramp and on-ramp at Lakewood Boulevard; Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

14. Norwalk: Northbound off-ramp at Norwalk Boulevard; Monday, 8 a.m. to noon; tree trimming.

15. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound off-ramp at Florence Avenue; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

16. Santa Fe Springs: Southbound No. 4 lane; Florence Avenue overcrossing to Orr & Day Road and Florence Avenue on-ramp; Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; tree trimming.
