Steve Scott, America’s premier middle-distance runner during the 1980s, held off Mogens Guldberg and European 1,500-meter champion Jens-Peter Herold to win the Stockholm City Mile.
Scott, 34, who missed several Grand Prix meets in Europe early this summer because of illness, was timed in 4:12.3.
