Newport Harbor 71, Torrance 68 (OT)--Mark McAnlis made a three-point shot at the buzzer in overtime to give the Sailors (3-0) the victory in the championship bracket quarterfinal game. McAnlis made five three-pointers in the game and scored 23 points. Justin McIntee had 28 points and eight rebounds for Newport Harbor.
Marina 66, Estancia 64--Matt Keim make six three-point baskets and scored 22 points and Darren Crooks also scored for Marina (2-0), which rallied from a 38-32 halftime deficit in a second-round game.
El Toro 59, Bellflower 48--Jason Senik’s 17 points led the Chargers in a consolation quarterfinal game.
In the Irvine girls’ tournament:
Brea-Olinda 71, Ocean View 42--Jody Anton’s 21 points led the Wildcats (3-0) past the Seahawks in a championship semifinal game at Woodbridge High.
