SAN DIEGO : Drive-By Shooting Wounds Nestor Man
A 20-year-old Nestor man was wounded late Saturday when shots were fired from a passing vehicle in what authorities believe was a gang-related incident.
The shooting occurred about 11:38 p.m. in the 4200 block of Marzo Street in a South San Diego community where gang-related activity has risen sharply in recent weeks, police said.
An estimated three to five shots were fired from a white Honda, and one bullet hit Alexander Goff in the left thigh, said a San Diego police spokesman. Goff was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
