LOS ANGELES : Hearing on Streamlining State Court System Set
Equal justice will be one focus of a hearing scheduled at 6 p.m. today before the California Commission on the Future of the Courts. The hearing is one of several being held around the state this month to create a long-range strategic plan for the judicial system.
The 43-member commission, appointed by California Chief Justice Malcom Lucas, is considering ways to simplify procedures. and make courts.
The hearing will be at the USC Davidson Conference Center at Figueroa Street and Jefferson Boulevard.
