Joe Juneau signed the most lucrative contract in the Washington Capitals’ history, a four-year $8.2-million deal. The center was to receive $250,000 this season, but the new contract eliminates that option year. Last season, Juneau had 58 assists and 14 goals with Boston before being traded March 21 to the Capitals for Al Iafrate.
