Crenshaw 30, Kennedy 16--Brandon Seals gained 230 yards in 31 carries and scored on runs of nine, six and three yards to lead third-seeded Crenshaw at Palisades High.
Seals added three two-point conversion runs and his backfield mate, Farrel Payton, added 149 yards in 17 carries, including a 23-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
Kennedy took a 16-14 lead at halftime on Waking Bailey’s 90-yard kickoff return. However, Crenshaw overwhelmed the Golden Cougars on the ground, rushing for 382 yards and four touchdowns.
