Share

The first of the summer’s county fairs is San Bernardino County’s National Orange Show, opening today and running through Memorial Day at the National Orange Show Grounds in San Bernardino.

“A World of Wonders” is the theme and an international music festival spanning eight stages is the highlight, featuring performers such as the Temptations (tonight); Tracy Byrd (Friday); Za Ji, the Incredible Acrobats of China (Saturday); the Texas Tornadoes (Sunday), and Sawyer Brown (Monday, $3). Call for schedule.

Among the typical but always fascinating fair attractions are the baby animal nursery, flower and landscape and home-arts exhibitions, pony rides and petting zoo, cooking and cake-decorating contests, and wine tasting.
