VENTURA : Orientation Urged for 2 New Officials
Ventura City Manager Donna Landeros wants to train the two new politicians on the City Council on the ins and outs of city government.
Monday night, the City Council will consider a rigorous Landeros lesson plan that outlines an orientation schedule for incoming Councilmen Ray Di Guilio and Jim Friedman.
The orientation would include an audience with no less than 20 city officials and former City Council members. It would cover a dense curriculum of city policies and procedures, and would update the freshman councilmen on 24 pending projects.
