See It From an RV
Anyone interested in seeing Europe on their own might want to try it our way . . . by RV. We’ve done it twice now (three months at a time) and have found it to be by far the least expensive way to go and certainly the most fun. No reservations, no schedules, and we had the experience of traveling with European families.
One handy guide we discovered before leaving on our last trip is a book called “Europe by Van and Motorhome,” by David Shore and Patty Campbell.
We first saw it recommended in a travel newsletter and ordered one by phone: (619) 723-6184. [Also available in some travel bookstores, the book’s authors say.]
