Elmo Toy

What has happened to parents? This whole Tickle Me Elmo thing is absurd! Who would pay $500 to $1,000 for a $29.95 toy that the kids are going to break within six months? And, more important, what kind of message is being sent to our children when we spend an exorbitant amount of money on something so silly?

Sorry, but I would rather spend $500 on a lot of educational toys or books or even buy toys for needy kids or donate to a charity before I’d buy Tickle Me Stupid dolls.
