In other Fountain Valley tournament games:

Fountain Valley 1, Ocean View 0--Sara Gulla threw a no-hitter in the quarterfinals for Ocean View, but Lindsey Collins scored the only run in the second inning on two errors for Fountain Valley (7-6). In an earlier game, Natalie King threw a one-hitter and struck out 11 for Fountain Valley in a first-round 6-0 victory over Orange Lutheran.

Mater Dei 1, San Diego Scripps Ranch 0--Tia Bollinger pitched a one-hit shutout, striking out 10 for Mater Dei (11-2). Kelsey Kollen singled with one out and advanced to third on a throwing error. Kollen slid under the tag for the winning run on Kendra Meano’s grounder to third.

Pacifica 6, San Diego Serra 0--Amanda Freed threw a near perfect game and struck out 13 for top-ranked Pacifica (12-1). Freed faced 21 batters; only one reached base on an infield single. The runner later was thrown out attempting to steal second.

Pacifica advances to the quarterfinals Saturday against Thousand Oaks.

Ocean View 3, Cavalry Chapel 0--Lea Gulla was two for three with a home run and three RBIs and Lovieanne Jung was two for four with two runs for Ocean View (4-5).

Mater Dei 7, El Modena 0--Tia Bollinger and Rory Gonsalez threw a no-hitter for Mater Dei (9-2) in a first-round game. Shealee Dunavan had a double and a two-run home run in the second inning for the Monarchs.

Pacifica 4, Villa Park 1--Toni Mascarenas threw a three-hitter and had two doubles in the first round for Pacifica (12-1).

In the Canyon tournament:

Sonora 2, Western 1--Jennifer Link and Dawn Ramyuke were two for three and Jennifer Brown was one for three with an RBI for Sonora (12-4) in a second-round game. Jennifer Kline was two for three with a home run for Western (6-5).

Sonora 3, Cypress 2--Dawn Ramyuke was three for three with an RBI and Jennifer Link was two for four with a run scored for Sonora in the first round.
