TRONA--This city’s Spring Fling on Saturday will pack a full day of activities, from the 6:30 a.m. pancake breakfast (Community Church; $3 adults, $2 children under 12) to the dinner dance (6 p.m.-midnight, VFW Hall; $10 adults, $5 children under 8). SAN FRANCISCO--Japantown will host the 30th annual Cherry Blossom Festival on April 19 and 20. It includes crafts exhibits and martial arts and flower-arranging demonstrations. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. along Post Street from Laguna to Fillmore streets, both days. At noon April 20, about 40 sushi chefs will roll out a 300-foot-long California roll on Post Street. A parade will start at 1 p.m. April 20 at Polk and Fulton streets. Free. (415) 563-2313.

RIVERSIDE--The Orange Blossom Festival will fill 20 downtown blocks on April 19 and 20. About 60 vendors will sell orange-flavored food and drinks. A parade along Mission Inn Avenue, beginning at 10 a.m. April 19, will include bands, equestrians and antique vehicles, as well as a flyover by World War II-era planes. 10 a.m.-dusk. Free.
