Law Firm Hired to Evaluate City Attorney’s Efficiency
The Inglewood City Council has hired a law firm to decide whether the city attorney’s office is run efficiently.
The decision is part of the city’s effort to save money and streamline its budget. The city hired the firm of Richards, Watson & Gershon of Los Angeles, which will be paid no more than $7,500 to analyze whether the city attorney’s office employs too many people.
The analysis comes a little more than month after the city offered City Atty. Howard Rosten and Assistant City Administrator Norman Cravens early retirement packages that could save the city about $500,000 a year.
