Applicants Sought for Seat on Water Panel
The board of directors of the Capistrano Valley Water District is accepting applications from residents interested in appointment to the Water Advisory Commission.
The five-member commission was created to advise the board about the management of water-related issues within the district.
The group will meet monthly with executive staff members to make recommendations about the annual budget, water rates, personnel issues and other matters as set by the City Council.
Applicants must live within the service area of San Juan Capistrano or the portion of Dana Point served by the district.
The commission term is two years. Members are paid $50 per meeting.
The deadline to apply is Aug. 4. Applications may be picked up at the Public Works Department office, 32450 Paseo Adelanto.
