Forums Will Present School Board Hopefuls
Voters can learn more about those running for the Orange Unified School District Board of Education at candidate forums scheduled this fall.
The Community Network for Education, the Orange Community Council PTA and the Orange Unified Legislative Coalition are sponsoring the panel debates, which will take place at four of the district’s high schools.
The League of Women Voters will moderate each event.
Eleven candidates are contending for the four seats open on the seven-member board. The election is Nov. 4.
The candidates will meet Sept. 30 at El Modena High School, Oct. 8 at Canyon High School, Oct. 14 at Villa Park High School and Oct. 22 at Orange High School.
The forums begin at 7 p.m.
