On Assignment Reports Rise in Revenues, Income

On Assignment Inc. posted a 42% rise in its first-quarter net income on a 21% increase in revenues.

For the quarter that ended March 31, On Assignment posted net income of $2.3 million, compared to a profit of $1.6 million a year earlier. Revenues in the latest quarter rose to $28.6 million, up from $23.6 million.
