Cerritos Center Offers Discounts to Students, Teachers
The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts will offer discounted $11.50 tickets for students and teachers for several 1999 programs, including “Tango Buenos Aires,” Jan. 7-9, and “Enter the Actress,” featuring Claire Bloom, on Jan. 14.
Other programs with $11.50 tickets are Andre Watts’ Jan. 21 piano recital, the Russian National Ballet Feb. 12-14, the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra on Feb. 18, Moiseyev Dance Company on Feb. 20-21, the Acting Company’s April 8-9 performances of “Twelfth Night” and “Tartuffe,” baritone Rodney Gilfry on April 12 and world music performers Ali Akbar Khan and Zakir Hussain on April 24.
Tickets must be purchased at the center’s ticket office; purchasers must have valid school identification; two tickets can be bought with each ID.
