Biotechnology Kits to Benefit Students
Ventura College students in the Central Coast Biotechnology Center will receive hands-on instruction after they receive two new education kits from Cal Lutheran University’s Enriched Science Program this week.
The $25,000 kits will enable the Ventura College center to give laboratory lessons in DNA fingerprinting, bacterial transformation and several other biotechnology fields.
The kits were purchased with a center grant and a donation to Cal Lutheran from Dennis and Linda Fenton of Westlake Village.
