Miller Gets Suspended
Reggie Miller was suspended by the NBA for one game without pay for flagrantly elbowing Charlotte’s Vlade Divac during Friday night’s game. Miller, who was also fined $7,500, will miss Indiana’s game today against San Antonio.
Miller was ejected in the third quarter for a category 2 flagrant foul, which carries an automatic ejection, when he hit Divac with his elbow under the basket.

“I’d like to say one thing about Jack Nies. I think he is a gutless official who holds grudges. He is a gutless man. He is a gutless official. And he holds grudges. Print that because I want the NBA to call me,” said Houston’s Charles Barkley.
Barkley was fined and suspended for an incident with the official last season and was ejected by Neis Friday night during Houston’s 100-75 loss to Orlando.
