In other Division III games:
Pacifica 1, Garden Grove 0--Amanda Freed (14-2) struck out 18, walked two and threw her eighth no-hitter. Pinch-runner Nissa Alana scored on Shawna Goessling’s sacrifice fly in the sixth inning for Pacifica (26-3).
Paso Robles 2, La Habra 0--Christina Gibbons (14-7) had severe side pain and fever earlier in the day and lasted only three innings (striking out six) before tiring. She gave up a leadoff single, walk and RBI single, and after the game returned to the doctor for more than three hours of tests. Fourth-seeded La Habra finished 21-8-1.
In Division I:
Foothill 6, Covina Charter Oak 2--Kristen Mann (two runs) had four hits, and Eryn Manahan (double, three RBIs) had three hits. Foothill (23-4) will play Chino Hills Ayala.
Mater Dei 1, Los Alamitos 0 (10)--Jessica Young hit a one-out single and pinch-runner Renee Snyder scored on Jamie Bagnall’s triple. Top-seeded Mater Dei (27-3) will face Fountain Valley in th quarterfinals.
Fountain Valley 1, Palos Verdes Peninsula 0 (11 innings)--Natalie King (11-4) pitched a two-hitter and struck out 14, and Colleen Burdick scored from second base on an error for the Barons (19-12).
Irvine 3, Moreno Valley Valley View 0--Edel Leyden had two hits for third-seeded Irvine (23-4).
In Division IV:
Rosary 2, Lakewood Mayfair 1--Two diving plays in the bottom of the seventh, by second baseman Jaime Fruth and center fielder Tymarie Novak, left the tying run at third base. Rosary (24-6) will play third-seeded Santa Fe Springs St. Paul.
In Division V:
Orange Lutheran 4, Riverside Notre Dame 0--Cassie Leasure had two hits and two RBIs for host Orange Lutheran (18-9), which plays Boron.
Calvary Chapel 10, San Pedro Mary Star of the Sea 2--Kori Przygocki’s three-run triple highlighted an eight-run fifth inning for the second-seeded Eagles (20-4), who play St. Margaret’s.
St. Margaret’s 1, Whittier Christian 0 (8 innings)--Pitcher Abbey Arnold (10-0) struck out 20, had three hits, and drove in Amber Arnold for St. Margaret’s (19-1).
In Division VI:
Southern California Christian 21, Liberty Christian 7--Bethany Davis had a grand slam for fourth-seeded SCC (16-4), which plays Norwalk Pioneer Baptist.
