In another Division II match:
Santa Maria Righetti 12, Sunny Hills 6--Iris Yuan won two of three sets in singles for unseeded Sunny Hills (15-5), which lost to the second-seeded team.
In Division I:
Woodbridge 13, Dana Hills 5--Danielle Hustedt and Natalie Mitton swept in doubles, 6-3, 6-2, 6-3, for the host Warriors (22-0), the top-seeded team.
Woodbridge reached its first Division I final and will play Palos Verdes Peninsula (23-1) in a rematch of their Oct 14 meeting, which the Warriors won, 11-7.
Dana Hills ended 18-6.
Palos Verdes Peninsula 13, Capistrano Valley 5--Leigh Ann Merryman swept in singles, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3, for Capistrano Valley (17-8), which had advanced to the semifinals for the first time since 1991.
Second-seeded Peninsula improved to 23-1.
In Division III:
Laguna Hills 12, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake 6--Jessica Prause swept in singles, 6-3, 6-0, 7-5, for third-seeded Laguna Hills (19-2), which advanced to the finals to play No. 4 Palm Desert.
In Division V:
Laguna Beach 10, Santa Maria St. Joseph 8--Laguna Beach (13-10) advanced to the final to play Carpinteria Cate. Ashley Maddocks swept in singles, 6-0, 6-2, 6-2, for the Artists.
