Los Amigos (4-2, 3-0) vs. Pacifica (4-2, 2-0)
7 TONIGHT BOLSA GRANDE HIGH
A pivotal game for two teams with Garden Grove League title hopes. Although each must still play Rancho Alamitos, and Pacifica must also play Santiago, the winner will be the team to beat. The Lobos have the county’s leading rusher, Andrew Niumata, who is coming off a 416-yard, eight-touchdown performance against Bolsa Grande. Quarterback Ao Sualua passes enough to keep defenses honest. Pacifica can run but is more dangerous passing. Coach Bill Craven uses two quarterbacks but will start Brent Kirkland. Jason Simpson is the top receiver.
