SEASON AT A GLANCE: The center fielder, who has signed with Pepperdine, ranks among the region’s most feared hitters. He has 33 hits in 58 at-bats for a .569 batting average, including 11 home runs and 40 runs batted in. At one point this month, he was 13 for 17 with eight home runs.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Against Marmonte League leader Royal, Falco hit three home runs to help last-place Agoura pull a 15-11 upset. He hit a two-run home run, three-run home run and solo home run. “Every home run was farther than the last,” Coach Bruce Beck said.

SEASON AT A GLANCE: Wetzel, a shortstop, has played a pivotal role in Notre Dame’s 14-4 start. She is batting .338 with 14 runs batted in, helping the Knights to an eight-game winning streak and their best start in recent memory.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Wetzel improved her average 100 points after going 12 for 23 with a home run, 10 RBIs and scoring 10 runs, leading the Knights to a 6-0 record last week. She helped the Knights qualify for the Desert Diamond Classic semifinals on Saturday in Lancaster.
