Fourth-graders at Valencia Elementary learned from the maestros Friday when members of the Orange County Philharmonic conducted a lesson in master musicianship in stringed instruments. “Students get excited about music when they see adults play,” said Principal Michelle Vaught. “It spurs their imagination and creative talents.” Vaught said the visit was part of an annual program for the students. The musicians travel to every school in the district.
