Youth Troupe Will Present ‘Twelfth Night’
Young people ages 14 to 21 will present an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” in a performance sponsored by the National Conference for Community and Justice and Shakespeare Festival/LA, on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m. at Shakespeare Festival/LA’s new performance space, 1238 W. 1st St. in Los Angeles.
The production is the culmination of a three-week NCCJ program for a multiracial company of at-risk teenagers, which promotes racial and ethnic harmony while teaching skills from acting to scenic and costume design. Free, but reservations requested: (213) 250-8787.
