THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

BREA

* North Brea Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 500 block at 12:10 p.m. Saturday.

* Brea Boulevard at Imperial Highway: A traffic accident involving an injury was reported at 2:23 p.m. Saturday.

* East Date Street: Grand theft was reported in the 700 block at 10:20 p.m. Sunday.

BUENA PARK

* Commonwealth Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 8200 block at 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

* Western Avenue: An auto burglary was reported in the 8600 block at 8:49 a.m. Friday.

FULLERTON

* North Acacia Avenue: A hit-and-run was reported in the 400 block at 8:23 a.m. Saturday.

* South Harbor Boulevard: Vandalism was reported in the 1100 block at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.

* South Magnolia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 200 block at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.

LA HABRA

* Euclid Street at Pinehurst Avenue: A traffic accident was reported at the intersection at 9:14 p.m. Saturday.

* West La Habra Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 12:21 p.m. Saturday.

* East Lambert Road: A burglary was reported at 9:17 a.m. Saturday.

LA PALMA

* Valley View Street: A petty theft was reported in the 7900 block at 9:23 p.m. Sunday.

* Valley View Street at La Palma Avenue: Reports of reckless driving at 9:52 p.m. Friday.

* Walker Street: A grand theft was reported in the 7900 block at 11:28 a.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* Appling Avenue: A male was sitting on a block wall causing dogs in neighborhood to bark at 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

* Bering Street: A live band was playing in someone’s backyard at 12:25 p.m. Sunday.

* North Bradford Avenue: A male transient was loitering in front of a business carrying several duffel bags and other property at 10:40 a.m. Sunday.

* North Placentia Avenue: A very loud party was taking place in a nearby alley at the 500 block at 10:28 p.m. Saturday.

YORBA LINDA

* Country View Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 5900 block at 10:33 a.m. Sunday.

* Toyon Terrace: Petty theft was reported in the 5900 block at 9:48 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
