ANAHEIM

* Deste Drive: A suspicious person was reported in the 10200 block at 2:12 a.m. Sunday.

* Brookhurst Street: A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 10500 block at 3:12 p.m. Saturday.

BUENA PARK

* Whitaker Street: An attic fire swept through a single-family home in the 8000 block Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. The cause of the fire was accidental but undetermined, said Capt. Paul Hunter, Orange County Fire Authority spokesman. The fire caused $20,000 in damage to the structure and $2,000 to its contents. No injuries were reported.

COSTA MESA

* San Carlos Lane: Report of a warrant arrest in the 2700 block Friday at 7:18 p.m.

DANA POINT

* Pacific Coast Highway: Flames erupted on a stove at Taco Bell in the 34100 block Wednesday night, authorities said. The grease fire was contained to the stove and there were no injuries, said Capt. Paul Hunter, Orange County Fire Authority spokesman.

FULLERTON

* Houston Avenue: Report of a burglary in the 9200 block Saturday at 11:37 p.m.

* Houston Avenue: Report of a petty theft in the 9900 block Saturday at 8:45 a.m.

GARDEN GROVE

* Valley View Street: Report of a warrant arrest in the 12100 block Thursday at 6:46 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Main Street: A 28-year-old Huntington Beach man was arrested after he allegedly tried to steal $194 in clothing from a store in the 200 block at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said. Jaime Estrada was allegedly leaving the store with the clothes when he was stopped by an employee. Estrada hit the employee in the face with an elbow and tried to flee, said Huntington Beach Police Lt. Lloyd Edwards. Estrada and the employee, a 26-year-old Huntington Beach man, fell to the ground and were struggling when officers arrived. Estrada, who was on parole for robbery, was booked into Huntington Beach Jail, Edwards said.

* Trabuco Road: Report of an assault in the 8100 block Friday at 12:50 p.m.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Emerald Bay: Report of a disturbance in the 600 block Saturday at 8:33 p.m.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Stockport Street: Gunshots were reported in the 25200 block at 9:47 a.m. Sunday.

* Costeau Street: A parked car was reportedly struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 25300 block at 1:41 p.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Sarabeth Lane: Report of a burglary alarm in the 27900 block Sunday at 3:23 p.m.

* Highlands Avenue: Report of vandalism in the 29800 block Sunday at 9:25 a.m.

* Moulton Parkway: Report of a burglary in the 28000 block Sunday at 4:40 a.m.

* Azal Court: Report of a disturbance in the 24300 block Sunday at 1:09 a.m.

LAGUNA WOODS

* Indian Hill Lane: Report of a disturbance in the 25500 block Sunday at 1:26 a.m.

LAKE FOREST

* Cavanaugh Road: Vandalism was reported in the 23500 block at 2:10 p.m. Sunday.

* Lake Forest Drive: A burglary was reported in the 21700 block at 8:26 a.m. Sunday.

* Zuni Drive: A suspicious person was reported in the 21800 block at 5:36 a.m. Sunday.

LA PALMA

* Center Point Drive: A cigarette discarded in a trash can caused a fire at the Panda Inn restaurant in the 100 block Tuesday night, authorities said. The small fire in the restaurant’s office was quickly extinguished by the building’s sprinkler system and was out by the time firefighters arrived. Water and smoke caused an estimated $10,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.

MISSION VIEJO

* Cedros: A reckless driver was reported in the 27100 block at 2:52 p.m. Sunday.

* Via la Coruna: A petty theft was reported in the 23900 block at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

* Via Pera: Vandalism was reported in the 26000 block at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* El Camino Real: A parked car was reportedly struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 700 block at 2:39 p.m. Sunday.

* Mariposa: A drunk driver was reported in the 100 block at 9:53 p.m. Saturday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Alipaz Street: A burglary was reported in the 32300 block at 11:21 a.m. Sunday.

* San Juan Creek Road: A petty theft was reported in the 32300 block at 6:39 p.m. Saturday.

* Dunas Road: A trespasser was reported in the 12600 block at 12:06 p.m. Sunday.

* Holt Avenue: An annoying phone call was reported in the 13700 block at 1:09 p.m. Sunday.

* Red Hill Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 11900 block at 1:58 p.m. Sunday.

TUSTIN

* Kipling Lane: A candle left unattended in a bathroom caused a fire in a home in the 14200 block Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. The fire, which was brought under control in 11 minutes, caused $5,000 damage. There were no injuries reported. “Candle-fire incidents are up because of an increased interest in candles,” said Capt. Paul Hunter, Orange County Fire Authority spokesman.

* Walnut Avenue: A discarded cigarette caused a fire in an industrial suite in the 2800 block of Walnut Avenue Thursday evening, authorities said. The fire caused $5,000 in damage before it was extinguished by sprinklers. No injuries were reported.

VILLA PARK

* Valley Drive: Arson is suspected as the cause of a fire that swept through a vacant two-story, single-family home in the 18700 block late Thursday, authorities said. Investigators said the fire had multiple points of origin. The fire caused $50,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.
