Pacific Symphony Revenues Up: The Pacific Symphony has reported its 1999-2000 ticket sale income as $4,112,000, a 9% increase over ticket sale revenue the previous season. Additionally, total contributed funds from individuals, corporations, foundations and government grants reached $3.58 million, a 23% increase. With total operating revenue at $8.79 million and expenditures at $8.77 million, the Santa Ana-based orchestra posted an operating surplus of $20,000. The season was Carl St.Clair’s 10th anniversary as music director of the orchestra.

“Butlers” Premiere Delayed: Grove Theater Center has postponed the world premiere of Ron House’s “Butlers, Bobbies and Boobs.” The comedy was to have run Oct. 11-29 at the Gem Theater in Garden Grove, but it will now be held over until next season as it continues to go through the development process of rewriting and refining, said Charles Johanson, the Grove’s executive director.
