Turn Off the Power
* I want to say to all Californians: Turn it off! Everything we don’t need for survival, let’s turn it off and not give one more penny to the rich Texas oilmen. President Bush is not going to help us; he has too many friends in the business. It seems that so many folks are jealous of us here in California that we just have to suck it up and take care of ourselves. Our forefathers were a hardy lot and founded this state with blood and sweat. OK, we may sweat a little, but no more money to the rich Texas oilmen.
