Cal State Fullerton 106, Sacramento State 97--Derick Andrew scored 11 of his 17 points in overtime to lift the Titans at Fullerton.

Andrew converted all eight of his free-throw attempts and banked in a three-pointer early in the extra period for the Titans.

Fullerton was three for three on field-goal attempts in overtime and made 16 of 20 free throws.

The Titans scored on their final 10 possessions, producing their highest point total in five years. Fullerton (3-5) led by 12 points with less than three minutes to play in overtime, but the Hornets made four consecutive three-pointers to cut the lead to 81-79 with 1:45 remaining, then tied the score on David Joiner’s layup a minute later.

Kevin Richardson put back Pape Sow’s miss with 19 seconds remaining to put the Titans back up by two, but Troy Selvey scored on a layup with two seconds left to send the game into overtime. Sacramento (3-6), which lost its 27th consecutive road game, made just three of 13 field-goal attempts in overtime.

Josh Fischer scored a career-high 25 points for Fullerton, which didn’t win its third game last season until Jan. 25. Sow, who scored 36 points in an overtime victory at Sacramento on Dec. 6, scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
