Kings Need to Add Help, Not Subtract Rob Blake

Rob Blake is one of the top three defensemen in the NHL. The entire hockey media talk about his dominance and his ability. However, no one talks about King management with the same reverence. The hockey community seems to take it for granted that the Kings will never win and that it is only fitting that Blake be allowed to win the Cup with a true contender.

What is wrong with this picture? The Kings have a very exciting team this year and are in the playoff hunt. The talk should be about what it will take to make them a true Stanley Cup contender. The Kings need to sign Blake, and make a deal for a proven playoff goaltender. Perhaps at that point, Dave Taylor will show the hockey world and Kings’ fans that he has what it takes.
