Detectives Seeking Jeep Linked to Killing of 2
Sheriff’s detectives investigating the execution-style slaying of two men whose bodies were found in a trucking yard Nov. 6 asked for the public’s help in finding a red Jeep Cherokee connected with the case.
The Jeep, belonging to one of the victims, is a 1992 four-door model with license plate 3DBV863, said Deputy Rich Pena. A trucker found the bodies of Hector Gonzalez, 25, and Hector Uriarte, 46, about 6:30 a.m. in the 500 block of East Dixon Street, Pena said. Police said the men’s arms were tied behind their backs and they were shot.
