The head of a 22-year-old man who was decapitated in a double homicide in Tujunga last week was found two blocks from the condominium where the slayings took place, police said Friday.

Arthur Masishi Dovodian’s head was found by a passerby in a vacant lot in the 7200 block of Valmont Street, authorities said. Kimberly Crayton, 20, was killed with Dovodian on Oct. 11, according to the medical examiner’s office.

The victims were found by their roommate, Michael Gregorian, 23. An uninjured child inside the residence was taken away by police officers.

Gregorian threw a party the night before the killings, but left at 3 a.m. when it became too rowdy, his father said.

A neighbor said he had called police several times to complain about noise and alleged drug use at the condominium in the 10100 block of Commerce Avenue. Some neighbors had talked about preparing a petition to demand Gregorian’s eviction.

Police said they know of no motive for the killings and have not found a weapon.
