* Hollywood Archeology: The Ten Commandments Project (Hollywood Entertainment Museum, 7021 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, [323] 465-7900). This exhibition explores the grandiose set built by film director Cecil B. DeMille for his 1923 biblical epic and then buried for 60 years. Upon completion of the film, producers had the set, which was 720 feet long and 120 feet high, buried rather than pay the cost of moving it to Hollywood. It was rediscovered in 1983, and excavation and preservation efforts continue to this day near Santa Maria. On display will be photos and artifacts including faux Egyptian wall reliefs, 1920s milk bottles, the original tent city that housed cast and crew and production photos. Ends Nov. 4. Also at the museum: “44 Television Sets on a Wall,” an exhibit of a variety of TV sets of all shapes and sizes. Ends next spring. Also, an exhibit of celebrity photos by Scott Del Amo. Ends Oct. 28. Open daily, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. $7.50; seniors and students, $4.50; ages 5 to 12, $4.
