La Palma Kennedy 33, Pacifica 19--Kennedy (1-1) scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to break a 19-19 tie and went on to the victory at Western High in Anaheim.

St. Bonaventure 58, Riverside Notre Dame 0--Lorenzo Booker rushed 11 times for 165 yards and three touchdowns as the Seraphs (3-0) extended their winning streak to 31 games.

Chino Hills Don Lugo 29, Sierra Vista 0--Senior tailback Leonard Faulkner carried 26 times for 236 yards and two touchdowns to lead host Don Lugo (1-1), which led, 19-0, at halftime.

Sierra Vista (1-2) had only 102 yards in offense.

Monrovia 18, Burbank 6--Monrovia (2-1) scored two times on interception returns, one for 15 yards and the other for 80. Burbank (0-3) committed five turnovers in the game at Burbank Burroughs.

In girls’ tennis:

Corona del Mar 12, Peninsula 6--Corona del Mar’s top two players, Anne Yelsey and Brittany Reitz, swept their singles matches and the Sea Kings, ranked No. 2 in The Times’ regional rankings, ended top-ranked Peninsula’s 65-match win streak.

Brittany Holland won two of three singles matches as Corona del Mar won eight of nine in singles.

The Sea Kings’ No. 1 doubles team, Taylynn Snyder and Leslie Damion, won two of three matches as did the No. 3 team of Brittany Minna and Amanda Rubenstein.

In girls’ volleyball:

Corona del Mar d. Newport Harbor, 11-15, 9-15, 15-13, 15-9, 15-13--Claire Allen had 17 kills and Morgan Smith had 15 to lead the Sea Kings to their first victory over Newport Harbor in eight years. Jacqueline Becker had 40 assists as Corona del Mar improved to 4-0.
