Battle of Valley Features Top Scorers

The Battle of the Valley all-star girls’ basketball game, set for 6 p.m. Saturday at Cal State Northridge, will have five players who are atop their schools’ scoring list. A boys’ game follows at 8. The Southern Section girls feature scoring leaders Teresa Cooper of Simi Valley, Gracie Coronado of Burbank Burroughs, Sharonne Herbert of Quartz Hill and Cassandra Harris of Newbury Park. The City girls have Liz Sun of Chatsworth. Admission: $8 adults, $6 children.
