Man’s Body Found Inside Burning Van
Homicide detectives and arson investigators were attempting to determine whether foul play was involved in the death of a man whose body was found inside a burning van, authorities said Friday.
Nearby residents said they believed the man, whose identity has not been released, had been living in the Ford Econoline van for some time.
Firefighters found the vehicle engulfed in flames in an alley in the 18700 block of Sherman Way about 10:30 p.m. Thursday and quickly extinguished the blaze, a fire department official said.
